About the Star Wars Day 2022 MagicBand
The Star Wars Day 2022 MagicBand is a Limited Edition band released May 4, 2022. The band itself is black.
Disney produced 3,600 of these, making it one of the larger limited editions: number 218 of the 262 numbered MagicBands in our catalog, and produced in smaller quantities than 17% of them.
It originally retailed at $39.99, in line with the $34.99 median across every MagicBand we track.
2022 was a busy year for MagicBand releases, with 220 bands recorded in our catalog.
Limited Edition MagicBands are produced in a fixed, published quantity and are never reissued, so supply only ever shrinks as bands are worn, lost or kept sealed by collectors.
This is a MagicBand 2, the second generation introduced in 2017, which uses a removable puck that can be swapped between band sleeves.
What is the Star Wars Day 2022 MagicBand worth?
Across 8 active eBay listings the Star Wars Day 2022 MagicBand is currently priced between $40.79 and $73.70, with a median of $57.50. That is close to its original $39.99 retail price.
Resale prices reflect active listings and move with demand. Condition, packaging and whether the band is unused all affect what a specific example sells for.
