About the Rafiki & Simba MagicBand
The Rafiki & Simba MagicBand is an Open Edition band released July 1, 2019. The band itself is dark green.
2019 was a steady year for MagicBand releases, with 141 bands recorded in our catalog.
Open Edition MagicBands are produced continuously while in the parks and are the most widely available type, so resale values tend to sit closer to original retail.
This is a MagicBand 2, the second generation introduced in 2017, which uses a removable puck that can be swapped between band sleeves.
