About the Lunar New Year 2022 MagicBand
The Lunar New Year 2022 MagicBand is a Limited Edition band released January 5, 2022. The band itself is red.
Disney produced 2,000 of these, making it a mid-sized limited edition: number 87 of the 262 numbered MagicBands in our catalog, and produced in smaller quantities than 67% of them.
It originally retailed at $39.99, in line with the $34.99 median across every MagicBand we track.
2022 was a busy year for MagicBand releases, with 220 bands recorded in our catalog.
Limited Edition MagicBands are produced in a fixed, published quantity and are never reissued, so supply only ever shrinks as bands are worn, lost or kept sealed by collectors.
This is a MagicBand 2, the second generation introduced in 2017, which uses a removable puck that can be swapped between band sleeves.
What is the Lunar New Year 2022 MagicBand worth?

Resale prices reflect active listings and move with demand. Condition, packaging and whether the band is unused all affect what a specific example sells for.
