About the Avatar: The Way of Water MagicBand
The Avatar: The Way of Water MagicBand is a Limited Edition band released November 1, 2022. The band itself is light teal (turquoise).
Disney produced 3,880 of these, making it one of the larger limited editions: number 221 of the 262 numbered MagicBands in our catalog, and produced in smaller quantities than 16% of them.
It originally retailed at $59.99, noticeably above the $34.99 median across every MagicBand we track.
2022 was a busy year for MagicBand releases, with 220 bands recorded in our catalog.
Limited Edition MagicBands are produced in a fixed, published quantity and are never reissued, so supply only ever shrinks as bands are worn, lost or kept sealed by collectors.
This is a MagicBand 2, the second generation introduced in 2017, which uses a removable puck that can be swapped between band sleeves.
At release it was sold through Walt Disney World, ShopDisney.
What is the Avatar: The Way of Water MagicBand worth?
Across 2 active eBay listings the Avatar: The Way of Water MagicBand is currently priced between $65.50 and $135.00, with a median of $100.25. That is roughly 1.7 times its original $59.99 retail price.
Resale prices reflect active listings and move with demand. Condition, packaging and whether the band is unused all affect what a specific example sells for.
